Telecommunications Access Program (TAP)
Beyond Barriers is a Demonstration Center for the Kansas Telecommunications Access Program. Kansas residents with existing telephone service and income below $55,000 per year qualify for a free specialized telephone if they also have trouble hearing, seeing, speaking, remembering, walking, or holding a telephone.

If you are interested in the TAP Program or have questions, any of Beyond Barriers Independent Living Specialists would be happy to assist you! The Hutchinson and Dodge City offices are demonstration sites for the TAP phones. If you are not able to travel to one of our offices, we can demonstrate the phones in the comfort of your own home.
