At Beyond Barriers, we’re proud to offer services FREE of charge to those with disabilities, meaning one less obstacle for those seeking independence. While we do get some state funding, we have more consumers than state funding is able to cover, meaning our staff is stretched thin trying to meet needs. Every dollar counts.
With your donation, people with disabilities can learn the skills and access the resources they need to work, play and live as independently as possible—and that benefits our entire community.
We sincerely appreciate any dollar amount you’re able to give, and you can rest assured knowing that we’re putting your investment to good use empowering those with disabilities to live with the freedom they want and deserve.
What your money could do:
$100 – Cover the cost of a screen reader for a person with low vision for one year
$500 – Help a high schooler access job shadowing and training

$2,000 – Build a new wheelchair ramp at a consumer's home
​
$5,000 – Modify a consumer’s bathroom with grab bars and a walk-in shower

It's easy to do! Just follow these steps:
1. Go to www.dillons.com/communityrewards and create a Dillons.com account by clicking “Register” in the upper right corner. Enter the requested sign in information – this will require a valid email address, and click “Create Account.” Add your Dillons Plus Card or ALT ID to your account. (Enter the 12-digit number from the back of your Plus card or your 10-digit phone number.) If you already have a registered Dillons Shoppers card, sign in.
2. Enroll your Dillons Plus card in Community Rewards by going to www.dillons.com/communityrewards and click “Apply now.” Put in Beyond Barrier’s organization number 40572 or the first few letters of our name and search for us. Once you have found us, click “Enroll” making Beyond Barrier your community partner.
3. Start shopping!
That’s all there is to it. Just be sure to scan your Dillons Plus Card every time you shop!

If you already use Thrivent Financial, you can direct your “Thrivent Choice Dollars” towards a non-profit that you choose!

It's easy to do! Just follow these steps:
1. Visit Thrivent.com/thriventchoice.
2. In the Direct Choice Dollars section on the right, select the “Get started now” link.
3. Log in and enter your user ID and password, and answer your security question.
4. Find the number of Choice Dollars available to direct on the right side of the screen.
5. To direct to Beyond Barriers.
6. Click “Direct Now” next to Beyond Barriers.

7. Click “Direct All” or enter a specific amount and click “Direct Now.” Follow the prompts on the confirmation window to direct Choice Dollars.
